Antique Edwardian Saint Esprit pendant silver & paste. French. Articulated .

A beautiful antique silver pendant, with pretty paste rhinestones in its original purple velvet box . All stones are present and original.

Stunning paste stones which are all present and bright. Couple just at the bottom near the side of the bird slightly darker.

The piece is articulated separate parts . Can be worn as two separate parts. Top two half's or bottom beautiful bird.

The pendant is silver, unsigned.

The box which the pendant lays in is beautiful. In good condition for the age. It's a stunning purple colour. The box itself is hinged . It shuts well with a nice click.

The pendant measures 3.4 inches length.

This piece is French I believe .

The diving dove, represents a symbol of the Holy Spirit (or Saint-Esprit), flying down to earth with a branch in its beak.

As well as the Holy Spirit, it also suggests the dove which brought an olive leaf to Noah, signifying man's reconciliation with God after the Flood.

This is a beautiful piece of antique jewellery .

You will not find many like this especially in the original box.
